Frequently asked questions
Why does the camera show a longer duration at the start than my move time?
Pogimoti gives the camera the whole recording: a few seconds of standstill at the beginning, in which the app finds the camera's recording rhythm, a few calm frames at the end and a small reserve. Pogimoti stops the recording itself at the end. The result line in the editor shows the same total time as the camera, for example 2:22 for a 2 min move at 2 s interval.
Why does the Luna briefly turn to the side before every move?
When centring, the Luna settles on whichever side is nearer, front or back. To make sure a move starts from the front, Pogimoti first turns to the left stop and from there to the front. This takes a few seconds.
Why doesn't the image move in every frame during very slow moves?
The Luna cannot move in arbitrarily small steps. Below a minimum speed, Pogimoti therefore moves in equal steps with short pauses in between. The time suggestion avoids this, and the editor points it out.
Does the phone have to stay with the camera during the timelapse?
Yes. Pogimoti guides every move. Please keep the phone within range and connected and do not close the app. On Android the screen may turn off; the notification keeps the move running. On the iPhone, Pogimoti has to stay in the foreground; do not lock it or switch to another app.
Why is there a jump when zooming past 3×?
Only on the Luna Ultra: at 3× the camera changes its lens. A zoom across this value can show a visible jump. It is best to stay completely below or above it.
How long will my video be?
Frames ÷ 30 gives the seconds of video; the frame count is recording time ÷ interval. The result line in the editor works it out for you.
How much does Pogimoti cost?
Pogimoti is free. Pogimoti Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) that stores your own moves permanently; "Restore purchases" is under ⋯ → "Unlock Pro".
Why don't I see a price?
The Pro page needs an internet connection. While the phone is on the camera's Wi-Fi without mobile data, it shows: "No internet connection. The camera's Wi-Fi has no internet — without mobile data, tap “Disconnect” first, then open this page again."
Where do the videos end up?
On the camera's memory card. Pogimoti has no media library; transfer the videos with the manufacturer's app or via the memory card.
