Compatibility and requirements
Supported cameras, phone requirements and what the camera can do in a timelapse.
Supported cameras: DJI Osmo Pocket 3, 4 and 4P.
Requirements: Android phone with Android 12 or later or iPhone with iOS 17 or later (for iOS: coming soon to the App Store), each with Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi.
- Connection: Lapset finds and pairs the camera via Bluetooth and then controls it directly over Wi-Fi. No internet is needed.
- One app at a time: while Lapset is connected, no other app may be connected to the camera.
- Pairing: confirm once via PIN on the camera display; from then on the camera knows the app.
- Waypoints: at most four per move, a limit of the camera.
- Axes: in a timelapse the camera moves pan and tilt; roll and zoom cannot be controlled.
- Interval: the steps come from the connected camera (typically 0.5 s to 60 s); at least 2 s with video + RAW.
- Resolution and frame rate: 1080p and 4K on all models, 2.7K only on the Osmo Pocket 3; each at 25 or 30 fps.
- Price: Lapset is free; Lapset Pro is a one-time purchase without a subscription.
